9th Annual Hickory Open Championship
November 2-4, 2012

Get your plus fours, step back in history and see what golf was really like in the golden era. The Mid Pines Hickory Open hosts golfers every November who are dedicated to the tradition of golf. Competitors compete on Mid Pines with hickory-shafted clubs and dress in period clothing.

24th Annual Turkey Tradition
November 23-27, 2011

Each November when Pine Needles and Mid Pines are in peak condition, families come from all over the country to participate in the Turkey Tradition. This long standing Thanksgiving event combines championship golf, a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, a real life Fox Hunt in Southern Pines, fun events, and much more.

• Turkey Tournament at Pine Needles
• Lunch
• Turkey Loop Event (all day long)
